Welcome from the Head Teacher
As Headteacher of Barnard Grove Primary School, on behalf of all staff, I’d like to offer you a warm welcome to our school.
I am immensely proud to be the Headteacher at Barnard Grove; it is a privilege to be part of a school which is at the heart of its community, where children are always placed at the centre of all of our decision-making.
With the help of our wonderfully polite, respectful and friendly children; supportive families; dedicated and committed staff, governors and Trust, we aspire to be the best we can be, in all that we do.
Although we appreciate that our core purpose is to enable every child to make academic progress throughout their Barnard Grove journey, we see the wider development of each individual as being equally important.
I’m delighted that our school ethos enables every member of our school community to feel included, empowered, supported, challenged and inspired to reach their full potential. We always go ‘above and beyond’ to create a fantastic learning environment, with the high expectations we have of children extended to high expectations staff have of each other to embrace and enrich every learning opportunity.
Our team are committed to developing learning with connected threads of learning that are sewn into every aspect of a broad and balanced curriculum. There are no barriers to learning at Barnard Grove Primary School – anything is possible for our children.
If you have any questions regarding Barnard Grove Primary School, then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
