Remote Education

In those circumstances where pupils are self-isolating or a ‘bubble’ has had to be closed, pupils will be able to use our remote learning platforms to participate in lessons throughout the school day. Pupils in KS1 and KS2 will do this through Google Classroom and Early Years lessons will be uploaded on Tapestry with live sessions taking place on Zoom.

Teachers will provide a blended approach of live lessons, pre-recorded lessons, explanations, independent work and practical activities for children to complete each day. Whilst each class timetable will vary, teachers will try to ensure that there is an introductory meeting at the start of each day to explain the day’s lessons and remind pupils/parents how to access and submit learning materials.

Opportunities to use Google Classroom have been provided to all children in school in their weekly Computing sessions but if parents or pupils require any further support, please contact Mr Whitham at school.
